Late start for Metamora football
The game between Metamora and LaSalle-Peru at Malone Field will begin at about 8 p.m., according to Kevin Chlum of LaSalle News-Tribune.
Late starts often happen in the Mid-Illini, which usually play 5 p.m. prelim games before varsity contests.
I’m at Malone Field in Metamora for nonconference football between La Salle-Peru (1-0) and Metamora (1-0). A 35-minute warmup clock just started after senior night festivities so kickoff will be about 8 p.m.
