An iconic photo perfectly summed up how much Team USA's Olympic comeback meant to LeBron James and Steph Curry

PARIS, FRANCE - AUGUST 08: Lebron James #6 and Stephen Curry #4 of Team United States celebrate after their team's win against Team Serbia during a Men's basketball semifinals match between Team United States and Team Serbia on day thirteen of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 at Bercy Arena on August 08, 2024 in Paris, France. When LeBron James and Steph Curry opted to play for the U.S. at the 2024 Paris Olympics, they saw it as their last (and only) opportunity to make a gold medal run together. And on Thursday, that goal nearly came to a crashing end in the semifinal against Serbia.

Steph and LeBron simply wouldn't let that happen.

The U.S. trailed Nikola Jokic and Serbia by as much as 17 points in the game before Team USA went on a blistering run to outscore Serbia by 17 in the fourth quarter. Curry had 36 points on nine threes (!!!) and LeBron had himself a triple-double. When the clock hit zeros on the 95-91 U.S. win, LeBron and Curry celebrated together near the basket.

That moment gave us the perfect photo to sum up just how much the win meant to the two players.

You can't say these Olympics weren't important to them. It meant everything.

With the comeback win, the U.S. will face the hosts France in the gold medal game on Saturday.
