As Hurricane Milton nears Tampa, will Memphis football be able to play South Florida?

Will Memphis football play South Florida this week?

The Tigers (4-1, 0-1 American Athletic Conference) are scheduled to face South Florida (2-3, 0-1) on Saturday (2:30 p.m.) in Tampa. But there's uncertainty about the status of the game, with Hurricane Milton expected to make landfall on Wednesday. Tampa is in an evacuation zone, and officials have warned about life-threatening conditions as a result of the storm.

The game has already been moved from Friday night to Saturday afternoon, but it's still not clear if it will be played then.

On the latest edition of the Tiger Football Podcast, Tigers football beat writer Jonah Dylan and Tigers basketball beat writer Jason Munz talk about the uncertainty regarding the game. They also talk about potential storylines if the game does happen, including the health of South Florida quarterback Byrum Brown.
