Here's the contract status of Milwaukee Brewers players headed into the offseason

With the 2024 Milwaukee Brewers season in the books after a crushing 4-2 loss to the New York Mets in Game 3 of their National League wild-card series, here is a look at the contract status of Brewers players heading into the offseason.

Already under contract for 2025

Aaron Ashby, left-handed pitcher (signed through 2028, with a team option for 2029)

Jackson Chourio, outfielder (signed through 2031, with team options for 2032 and 2033)

Brandon Woodruff, right-handed pitcher (signed through 2025, with a mutual option for 2026)

Christian Yelich, outfielder (signed through 2028, with a mutual option for 2029)

Pending options for 2025

These players have an option in their contract for 2025 that must be exercised or declined. Both sides must exercise a mutual option for it to go into effect.

Rhys Hoskins (player), first baseman/designated hitter

Wade Miley (team), left-handed pitcher

Frankie Montas (mutual), right-handed pitcher

Freddy Peralta (team), right-handed pitcher

Colin Rea (team), right-handed pitcher

Pending arbitration-eligible

Because of their service time and other factors, these players must be tendered contracts, or non-tendered, for the 2025 season. Non-tendered players immediately become free agents. Those tendered contracts enter the salary arbitration process, unless the sides come to an agreement on a new deal.

Jake Bauers, first baseman/designated hitter

Aaron Civale, right-handed pitcher

William Contreras, catcher

Eric Haase, catcher

Nick Mears, right-handed pitcher

Trevor Megill, right-handed pitcher

Hoby Milner, left-handed pitcher

Joel Payamps, right-handed pitcher

Bryse Wilson, right-handed pitcher

Pre-arbitration eligible

These players have less than three years of service time, meaning most on this list (which excludes members of the 40-man roster who were either minimal contributors or aren't expected to return) will re-sign for or have their contracts renewed somewhere around the MLB minimum.

Sal Frelick, outfielder

DL Hall, left-handed pitcher

Bryan Hudson, left-handed pitcher

Jared Koenig, left-handed pitcher

Garrett Mitchell, outfielder

Andruw Monasterio, infielder

Tobias Myers, right-handed pitcher

Elvis Peguero, right-handed pitcher

Blake Perkins, outfielder

Brice Turang, infielder

Rob Zastryzny, left-handed pitcher

Pending free agents

Willy Adames, shortstop

Joe Ross, right-handed pitcher

Note: This list doesn't include fringe 40-man roster members who either were minimal contributors or aren't expected to return.
