Recap: Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 30 as Grizzlies beat Magic for 3rd straight win
The Memphis Grizzlies won their third-straight game on Friday night, beating the Orlando Magic 107-106 at FedExForum.
Despite playing without Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart and others, the Grizzlies were in control for most of the night and held off a late charge from a Magic team that came in to the game as six-point favorites.
Jaren Jackson Jr. was the focal point offensively and finished with 30 points, but the Grizzlies got contributions from Ziaire Williams, Luke Kennard and Santi Aldama to pull out the win.
The Magic erased a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter, but Joe Ingles' 3-pointer with time about to expire didn't go and the Grizzlies escaped with the win.
It was the third straight win for the Grizzlies, who have stayed competitive even as they’ve dealt with an injury crisis and have started to establish an identity around the players they have available.

Grizzlies looking for 3 in a row
The Memphis Grizzlies are back home.
Fresh off a four-game road trip, the Grizzlies (17-27) return to FedExForum to host the Orlando Magic on Friday at 7 p.m. Memphis went 2-2 on the trip and is coming off back-to-back wins over the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat.
Luke Kennard and Santi Aldama missed Wednesday's game against the Heat, but Kennard is expected to play Friday and Aldama is listed as questionable.
While the Grizzlies have been missing a slew of key rotation players, including star guard Ja Morant, who is out for the season, they've gotten key contributions from breakout players like Vince Williams Jr. and GG Jackson to stay afloat. Both figure to play significant roles Friday night.
The Magic (23-21) have lost three of their past four but last played Monday night and should be well-rested. This will be the first meeting this season between the teams.
