The Tennessee Titans selected Texas defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat with the No. 38 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Sweat is listed at 6-foot-4 and 366 pounds and will command attention in the middle of the defense. He was the Outland Trophy winner in 2023 after a unanimous All-America season.

Why? Sweat is a limited defensive tackle who will not play often on passing downs. For a team that doesn't have another Day 2 pick, it is an odd value pick. Sweat should be a handful on double-team blocks against the run at 366 pounds, but there's not a lot of consistent pass-rush ability in his film.
