The New York Giants hosted the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at MetLife Stadium as the Giants welcomed back Saquon Barkley for the first time since his departure.

The Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead and would not look back after that.

The Giants' defensive line continued their impressive season adding to their sack total. However, the offense was stagnant all game long despite the return of Malik Nabers. Big Blue clearly missed Andrew Thomas in their first game without him this season as they eclipsed their season high in sacks allowed in a game this season.

To make matters worse, Saquon Barkley had an impressive game in his return breaking for a few big runs and getting the Eagles on the board with the first touchdown of the day.

The Eagles would end up winning the game 28-3 and the game was never really competitive after the first quarter.

With the loss, the Giants dropped to 2-5 on the season. Here's how X reacted.
