George Bush, Eric Dickerson, spotted at Gerald J. Ford Stadium for FSU-SMU game
Gerald J. Ford Stadium brought some heavy hitters for the first-ever meeting SMU-FSU game. One of them was George W. Bush.
The 43rd president did the honorary coin toss. It has been over a decade since the George W. Bush Presidential Center, located on the East side of the SMU campus.

Another notable public figure in attendance is former SMU great Eric Dickerson. The ACC Network captured the former All-American on a golf cart, waving to the crowd. He also participated in the pregame show.
Dickerson is a five-time first-team All-Pro NFL running back and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Before kickoff, ACC commissioner Jim Phillips was spotted talking with Michael Alford, vice president and director of athletics.
This is the first-ever meeting between FSU and SMU. It is also the Mustangs' inaugural ACC opener.
