FSU football's Samuel Singleton Jr. sparks team with kickoff return TD vs. Duke

Florida State football needed a spark to start the second half, and it was granted.

FSU's runningback Samuel Singleton Jr. scored on a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that would have the Seminoles trail 17-13 to start the third quarter.

It is FSU's first kickoff return TD since last season against the Blue Devils when Duece Spann returned for 99 yards, following a Jordan Travis pick-six from Duke's cornerback Chandler Rivers, who scored on a pick-six earlier in the first quarter.

FSU won that game 38-20. The Seminoles are trailing 20-13 halfway through the third quarter. All 13 points came from special teams.
