FSU football's Luke Kromenhoek's accidental QB sneak sets up first scoring drive vs Miami

What was supposed to be a QB sneak on fourth-and-1 turned into a 42-yard run for Florida State football freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek.

It would eventually set up a Caziah Holmes touchdown for the Seminoles, cutting Miami's lead to 14-7 in the second quarter on Saturday night in Miami Gardens.

Kromenhoek entered the game at the start of the second quarter after FSU trailed 14-0 at the end of the first. This is the true freshman's second game appearance.

After the long run, Kromenhoek leads the Seminoles with 69 rushing yards on six carries. He has attempted two passes.

His only completion was to Malik Benson in the middle, where he was short on second down. Kromenhoek made his first game appearance last week against Duke.

Kromenhoek will start the second half for the Seminoles. FSU trails 17-7.
