Fall camp is underway for the Florida State football team ahead of a very promising 2024 college football season.

FSU fans are excited not only for the release of EA Sports' College Football 25 and the chance to build the Seminoles into a virtual powerhouse. The real-life FSU showed last season it should be considered among the best teams in the nation and should be a contender for the new 12-team College Football Playoff.

Florida State went 13-0 and won the ACC championship but were left out of the CFP, losing most of their starters for the NFL Draft. But there's plenty of talent filling in those key spots. In place of Jordan Travis comes quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, a transfer from Oregon State (and ACC rival Clemson previously). His top weapons will be a pair of Alabama transfers in running back Roydell Williams and wide receiver Malik Benson, while the fearsome defense will return Patrick Payton and add Marvin Jones Jr. from Georgia.

The 2024 FSU schedule starts August 24 in Dublin, Ireland against Georgia Tech and includes trips to Notre Dame, Miami and Duke. Clemson and Florida come to Doak Campbell Stadium in 2024, and the Seminoles will face a pair of ACC newcomers in SMU and California.
