FSU book guy is back! Shirtless fan returns with a book for Florida State vs Clemson

Florida State football may have lost to Clemson. They may have fallen to 1-5 in a season with College Football Playoff expectations.

But for one moment late in the 29-13 loss Saturday night, it didn't matter. The FSU Book Guy was back.

Coming off the 2-minute timeout, ESPN's camera crews caught a shirtless fan alone in the stands at Doak Campbell Stadium reading a book.

If this looks familiar, it's because he went viral for doing the same thing at FSU's game against Clemson in 2018.

"FSU book guy" seems to only appear when the Seminoles are having a terrible season. In 2018, FSU went 5-7 and got plastered by Clemson 59-10. This year might actually be worse: The Noles were 4-3 when Book Guy made his first appearance.

Announcer Mark Jones shared the story of accidentally meeting the fan before the game while stopping to pet his dog. He said the fan told him he was going to try to get into the game again tonight. Partner Roddy Jones laughed and asked if he knew what book the fan was reading.

"It's 'How I Get More NIL Money,'" Mark Jones joked.

Twitter reacts to Florida State book guy

Social media of course had a field day. Here's a look at the reaction:

Reading is fun, everyone.
