Florida State football LB DJ Lundy is out for the season with undisclosed injury
Florida State football linebacker DJ Lundy is out for the season with an undisclosed injury.
Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell announced the redshirt senior linebacker's status after FSU's practice on Wednesday.
Lundy was in street clothes before kickoff vs. Clemson and never saw the field. In the five games he's played this season, the Ocilla, Georgia, native recorded 14 total tackles.
Lundy has played in 47 career games with the Seminoles and recorded 195 total tackles.
Lundy has already redshirted and has played in five games this season, so he is unable to redshirt again. There is an NCAA hardship waiver that provides an extra year of eligibility if an application is approved.
Norvell did not comment on Lundy's eligibility following the announcement of his injury.
