Falcons rule out cornerback on final Week 1 injury report

.
.

Health-wise, the Atlanta Falcons are in great shape heading into Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team released its final Week 1 injury report on Friday and just one player was ruled out.

Cornerback Antonio Hamilton won't suit up on Sunday due to a groin injury he sustained during the week. Hamilton was limited on Thursday and did not participate during Friday's practice. Look for second-year cornerback Clark Phillips III to play an expanded role in Week 1 with Hamilton out.

Linebacker Nate Landman (oblique) and tight end Kyle Pitts (hamstring) were full participants at Friday's practice. Both players are good to go for Sunday's game. Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson was limited for the second day in a row but still hopes to play in the season opener.

"We play the game on Sunday," Wilson told reporters on Friday. "I'm hoping I get to be in it, obviously, but just trying to get ready to go."
