Falcons fans bracing for Justin Fields after injury to Russell Wilson

NFL fans on Twitter can be a little unhinged at times. On Wednesday, Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts was limited in practice due to a sore hamstring and fans began spinning out of control. Pitts even felt the need to set the record straight about his health for Week 1. "I'll see you all on Sunday," Pitts tweeted in response to the backlash.

The spotlight shifted to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday after quarterback Russell Wilson was limited in practice with a calf injury. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters that Wilson was going to get checked out by doctors. Tomlin previously warned Falcons head coach Raheem Morris to be ready for a Justin Fields package when the teams face off on Sunday.

Now that Wilson is dealing with an injury, fans on Twitter are fully expecting to see Fields in Week 1:
