The Atlanta Falcons will have their work cut out for them in Week 3 as the star-studded Kansas City Chiefs come to town for another prime-time matchup on Sunday. The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls since head coach Andy Reid paired quarterback Patrick Mahomes with tight end Travis Kelce in 2018.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris praised the Kansas City duo while talking to local reporters on Wednesday. "He's the best," Morris said about Mahomes. "You know, you don't want to ever argue history, but when you talk about in the game right now."

Morris placed Mahomes and Kelce into an elite group of "alien-type status" players, including Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Barry Sanders and Tom Brady.

"He's unique," Morris said of Kelce. "He's a freak. You can't necessarily go draw his routes up on a card. You can't draw his routes up on a piece of paper. I'm not even sure what his routes are. I'm not sure if Patrick knows, but they work and they are very productive at the things they do. They are very unique."

Thus far, Mahomes and Kelce haven't produced up to their usual standards, but the Chiefs are undefeated after playing two potential AFC contenders. Mahomes has passed for 442 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions while Kelce has just four catches for 39 receiving yards in two games.

The Falcons are coming off an incredible comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles and will look to keep the momentum going this Sunday night in Atlanta.
