EA Sports College Football 25: How Seth Henigan, Memphis football are rated
If EA Sports' "College Football 25" − which made its long-awaited return Monday − is any indication, Memphis football might run away with the AAC in 2024.
The Tigers, who are already a trendy pick to be the Group of Five representative in the College Football Playoff, received an overall rating of 85 from the creators of the hugely popular video game. That ranks tied for 23rd among all FBS programs. The rating is broken down into offense (also an 85 and No. 19 in the nation) and defense (82).
Senior quarterback Seth Henigan is the highest-rated player on the Tigers' roster with an 89. Henigan said in March he hoped to at least be rated an 85.
“The difference between an 85 and an 84, to me, there’s a huge difference," he said. "Eighty-five rounds up to 90.”
Wide receiver Roc Taylor is a close second at 88, while offensive lineman Xavier Hill is set at 86.

MEMPHIS FOOTBALL: Why Tigers' 2024 season and playoff hopes will be decided away from home
Boise State ranks second among Group of 5 teams with an overall rating of 82.
Tulane, USF and UTSA each received overall ratings of 80 to tie for second among American Athletic Conference programs.
Florida State is the only team on Memphis' 2024 schedule with a better overall rating from the video game (making its return after 11 long years) with an 88.
