Drake was all over John Wall during the Raptors' Game 2 win over the Wizards
Drake has never done much to hide his sports fandoms, but one might wonder where the Canadian rapper’s priorities lie when they’re in conflict.
Two of his most well known allegiances are the Toronto Raptors and Kentucky Wildcats basketball. The Raptors played in the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday against the Wizards, whose star player John Wallis one of Kentucky’s more famous alumni. It’s safe to say the Raptors won out.
With the Raptors up 44-27 after the first quarter, Drake felt plenty comfortable lobbing some heckles Wall’s way from his courtside seats. He later posted a highlight on his Instagram story.

“John, you’re getting bodied by 20 today. 6ixbuzz, 6ixbuzz. You’re a bucktee my G,” Drake said, using multiple Canadian slang terms.
Wall finished with 29 points, 9 assists and 4 turnovers, which doesn’t seem too bad for a bucktee, though he also put up a -15 plus/minus on the floor. No matter how he performed, something tells us Wall might not be too interested in joining Drake’s Fortnite party anytime soon.
