Daytona 500 predictions? Give us yours! Make your NASCAR pick for the Great American Race!

DAYTONA BEACH — The time for hemming and hawing, debating and deliberating is over.

In one week, the green flag will drop on the 66th running of the Daytona 500 and there's only one question left to ask: Who ya got?

That's right, it's time to make your pick for the Great American Race! And as we know, there may not be a more difficult even on the entire NASCAR Cup Series slate to handicap than this one.

But isn't that what makes it so much fun to try?

POWER RANKINGS 5-1: The Kyles, the villain, sliced bread: Who takes the top spot?

According to Hard Rock Bet, three-time Daytona 500 champ Denny Hamlin and reigning Cup Series champ Ryan Blaney are the favorites at +1000 with Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano just behind at +1100. But as we know, there's hardly such a thing as a longshot here. Case and point? Michael McDowell, the 2021 winner is +4000.

As always, you may vote up to once per hour on the winner. This poll will close at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, the start time for the race.

Please send any and all comments, write-in votes, complaints and thoughts to rpritt@gannett.com or tweet them to @RPritt on X. We may run some of our favorites with next week's poll.

Thank you to all that voted and will vote. Here were some of our favorite comments from last week:
