Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase was upset with officials during the fourth quarter of Sunday's NFL Week 2 game at Arrowhead Stadium because he wanted a penalty called against the Kansas City Chiefs' Trent McDuffie.

"He thought it was a hip-drop (tackle)," CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson said during the broadcast.

Chase yelled at official Alex Kemp, who flagged Chase for unsportsmanlike conduct. CBS' Jim Nantz and Tony Romo questioned Chase's judgment for the penalty.

"That's a crucial penalty," Nantz said during the broadcast. "Will take them out of field-goal range. Alex Kemp had heard enough. That's a killer because now it's 3rd-and-22."

"Yeah, you can't upstage (an official)," Romo said.

The Bengals' Evan McPherson did kick a go-ahead, 52-yard field goal two plays later, to give the Bengals a 25-23 lead.
