Cooper Mays extends streak of not allowing a sack

Cooper Mays kicked off his fifth season at Tennessee in Week 1 versus Chattanooga. He started at center in the Vols' 69-3 season opening win.

Per the University of Tennessee, Mays extended his streak of not allowing a sack in a game. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman has not allowed a sack in 15 consecutive contests.

He will look to extend his streak versus North Carolina State in Week 2.

Kickoff between the Vols and Wolfpack is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ABC. Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe will be on the call.

The Week 2 matchup will be contested at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
