Columbus Crew vs New York City FC: How to watch Leagues Cup quarterfinal matchup

To advance to the Leagues Cup quarterfinals, the Crew were forced to pulled off their biggest comeback of the season.

The Crew trailed 2-0 in the second half against Inter Miami on Tuesday, but behind a goal from Christian Ramirez and two goals from Diego Rossi, Columbus defeated the reigning Leagues Cup champions 3-2 and is now slated to face New York City FC on Saturday.

"It was a good exercise because it’s been a long moment that we’ve had kind of a situation like this," Crew coach Wilfried Nancy said. "This is a good reminder that we don’t quit."

Similar to Miami, NYCFC is an Eastern Conference opponent that the Crew already went against this year during regular-season.

On the road, Columbus trailed 1-0 in the first half but was quick to even the score 1-1 with a goal from Ramirez. And just like in the Miami match, it took little time for the Crew build off Ramirez's goal, scoring two more to take a 3-1 lead and secure a 3-2 victory.
