Colts coach 'felt good' about final play, but reactions vary on social media
Was it the lineup, the call, the throw or the catch?
Whatever it was, there are plenty of questions about the Colts' last offensive play of the season.
Facing 4th-and-1 at the Houston 15 and trailing 23-17 with less than a minute to go, the Colts took Jonathan Taylor (188 rushing yards) off the field and called a screen pass to reserve running back Tyler Goodson. Gardner Minshew's throw was a little behind Goodson, who couldn't haul it in.
Houston yielded a safety with 1 second left and the game ended 23-19.
“Felt good about (Tyler) Goodson in that situation,” Colts coach Shane Steichen postgame.
Meanwhile, there where questions on social media.

JT tried to put the team on his back. Glad to see 2-8 is BACK!
The future is bright for this Colts team https://t.co/NWBFCNWTLu— Darius Butler (@DariusJButler) January 7, 2024

Wowwwwwww.
Tyler Goodson needs to catch that. Gardner Minshew needs to put an easier ball out there when his back is uncovered with a short depth of target.— Nate Atkins (@NateAtkins_) January 7, 2024
Inexcusable. Minshew's got to make a better throw on that. Just has to.

Shane Steichen’s fourth-down play call falls a fingertip short and the Colts fall 23-19 to the Texans in one crazy close game.
The Colts’ successful season without Anthony Richardson falls juuuuust short as they finish 9-8.
But they have a lot of hope for the future.— Nate Atkins (@NateAtkins_) January 7, 2024

Gardner Minshew can't make the layups

Colts season likely ends on a bad throw from their QB2 to their RB35.
