One could argue there is no more anticipated inactive list for the 2024 season than the Week 1 report for the Cincinnati Bengals before they take on the New England Patriots.

Ja'Marr Chase's contract drama reigned supreme over the proceedings, especially after that interview session on Friday where he suggested he might play without a contract extension, but in a reduced role. He's active, so we'll see how many snaps he plays.

Tee Higgins' latest hamstring injury wasn't far behind in terms of attention, though and it will cost him the season opener.
