KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After announcing a new 10-year partnership with adidas and former student-athlete Patrick Mahomes, Texas Tech Football is getting new uniforms.

In a social media post, Mahomes and others associated with the university unveiled the new grey, white and red uniforms that also feature Mahomes’ logo. The post reads:

“Can’t wait to see my logo debut on @texastech_fb on 11/9. Full collection and jersey available tomorrow at 9am CST on adidas.com.”

The partnership between the three entities comes as adidas continues to leverage the star-athlete Mahomes. Texas Tech previously wore Under Armour-branded uniforms, before Mahomes and adidas stepped in with their offer.

Mahomes was inducted into the Texas Tech Ring of Honor in 2022. He played quarterback for Texas Tech from 2014 to 2016, before being drafted by the Chiefs in 2017.

“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for Texas Tech and I’m proud to have helped bring Red Raider Nation into the three-stripe fam,” said Mahomes after securing the deal between adidas and his alma mater.

“Today is just the beginning of an incredible partnership with adidas, so stay tuned for more to come this fall that we’re excited to be working on together!”
