The Nashville Predators begin the NHL playoffs with Game 1 against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday at Rogers Arena.

Nashville's torrid run through February and March powered a 99-point season, putting an up-and-down first half of the season behind them. In that first half of the season, Vancouver swept the regular season series against the Preds in three games across October and December.

The Canucks (50-23-9) won the Pacific Division after a torrid start to the regular season. Much like the Predators, the chief production came from four players, three forwards and a defenseman. J.T. Miller had a 103-point season, with Elias Petterson and Brock Boeser posting excellent seasons. Quinn Hughes is one of hockey's elite young defensemen, totaling 92 points and playing every game in the regular season.
