Louisiana football has a 10-day break before it resumes Sun Belt Conference play on the road to San Marcos, Texas to face Texas State.

The Ragin’ Cajuns (6-1, 3-0 SBC) have been rolling in conference play, with their latest win coming against Coastal Carolina. Now the question is can the Cajuns keep winning? With fifth-year quarterback Ben Wooldridge at the helm of their offense and their defense much more productive it is a strong chance they can.

It won’t be an easy task trying to get past the Bobcats (4-3, 2-1 SBC) who at the start of the season were seen as a front-runner for the conference championship. They were voted as the number-one team in the SBC preseason poll but have had some struggles this year. Last week, they were shocked by Old Dominion dropping the game 24-14.

This marks the second time the Cajuns will face a team coming off a loss as they faced a similar fate last week against the Chanticleers. UL will look to hand the Bobcats a second L in a row as it strides toward becoming an SBC championship contender. Texas State and fifth-year quarterback Jordan McCloud have other plans to end the Cajuns' four-game winning streak.

What better setting than a random Tuesday night for these two conference foes to go head to head with a lot on the line as every game is critical in the Sun Belt.
