What channel is Guardians vs Tigers today? Time, TV schedule to watch ALDS playoff game
After losing Game 2 of the American League Divisional Series against the Detroit Tigers, the Guardians will turn to starting pitcher Alex Cobb for Game 3 of the series.
The Guardians acquired the 37-year-old pitcher in a July trade with the San Francisco Giants. Since then he's started only three games due to small, nagging injuries — a torn finger nail on his right index finger and a blister on his right middle finger.
But those three games are why he's starting Game 3 against the Tigers. In those games, Cobb was 2-1 with a 2.76 ERA with 10 strikeouts and just three walks given up. He last pitched on Sept. 1, and was on pace for a perfect game in that game.
