Carolina Panthers mark 30th season with practice at Clemson: Date, time, ticket price for fan fest
CLEMSON – The Carolina Panthers will practice at Clemson football's Memorial Stadium on Aug. 1.
The Panthers are entering their 30th season and will host their annual fan fest at Clemson, where they played at Memorial Stadium for their home games during the team's inaugural season in 1995.
“As we head into our 30th season, we’re looking forward to bringing football to our fans across the Carolinas this summer, including going to Clemson where it all began,” Carolina Panthers president Kristi Coleman said in a press release.
Admission will be $5 and available on Ticketmaster starting Friday. Fans can watch the Panthers' open team practice, buy team merchandise and enjoy a fireworks show to conclude the festivities. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. ET, and the event will start at 6:30 p.m.
"We are honored to play a part in the Panthers celebration of their 30th season by hosting Fan Fest in Memorial Stadium, site of the franchise's inaugural season," Clemson athletic director Graham Neff said in a press release. "Clemson University and the Panthers' organization share many connections, and we're excited to collaborate on this unique opportunity."
One of those connections is Panthers senior defensive assistant Dom Capers, who coached Carolina during its inaugural season. He coached Carolina to a 7-9 record including a 5-3 record at Memorial Stadium.
This is one of 15 open practices that the Panthers are hosting this season. They have no Clemson players on their roster but have four South Carolina players, including 2024 first-round pick Xavier Legette.
