Caitlin Clark returned to action after leaving Monday's Fever game with what looked like an ankle injury

Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark left the WNBA world holding its breath during Monday night's road game against the Atlanta Dream after seemingly rolling her ankle on a fall.

She was down on the court for a good while and looked to be in visible pain.

However, Clark re-entered the game at the start of the second quarter and resumed play.

The rookie did get up under her own power after the fall and made it back to the Fever bench where she received medical attention. She stayed on the bench after the injury for the rest of the first quarter, which was a sign it was not nearly as significant as it looked in the moment.

It's a relief for the Fever that Clark was able to return, as a meaningful injury to the team's superstar would have been a big problem for its playoff chances.
