Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark gave WNBA fans quite a scare on Monday night after she went down with an ankle injury against the Atlanta Dream.

The first-quarter injury left Clark on the court for a bit, as it looked like she was in quite a bit of pain. She was able to get up on her own and walk off to the bench, and she returned to the game in the second quarter and posted plenty of amazing highlights afterward.

After the game, Clark's deadpan sense of humor came through as she joked about the moment and how she felt it made her look "soft."

"I look really soft," Clark joked as her coach Christie Sides and teammate Kelsey Mitchell laughed at the media table, per IndySports' Chloe Peterson. "It wasn’t that bad of a turn, but it hurt.”

Hey, if you can have a good sense of humor and poke fun at yourself after what looked like a pretty significant injury in the moment, that's how you know the whole ordeal ended with a happy ending.
