Caitlin Clark nailed a tightly-contested 3-pointer from deep in her first game since the Olympic break
Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark and her team returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night after a month off, and you could tell the rest helped out Indy a good bit.
The Fever got off to a very good start against the Phoenix Mercury in their post-Olympic break game, which of course featured an excellent 3-point shot from Clark from beyond the arc with a Mercury defender in her path.
Watching Clark hit a 3-pointer from deep is a big part of why her rookie season has been such an exciting stretch in sports this summer.
This outstanding 3-ball with tough Mercury defense on her is a heck of a sign of what may be to come as the rookie closes out her first year in the WNBA.
