Bucks Twitter reacts to selection of Tyler Smith in second round of 2024 NBA draft
For the second time in three years the Milwaukee Bucks have selected a player from the G League Ignite in the NBA draft.
The Bucks selected 19-year-old Tyler Smith, a 6-foot-11 forward, in the second round Thursday with the 33rd pick two years after picking Marjon Beauchamp out of the G League Ignite developmental team.
Smith joins 19-year-old AJ Johnson as members of the Bucks' draft class in 2024. The Bucks selected Johnson with the 23rd pick in the first round on Wednesday night, a selection that left many Bucks fans confused.
