Bruins Send Big Forward Down To AHL

The Boston Bruins have announced that forward Max Jones has been assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Providence Bruins.

Jones, 26, was placed on waivers by the Bruins on Tuesday (Nov. 5). However, after going unclaimed, he will now remain with the organization and play down in the AHL.

Jones will now look to get things back on track down in Providence. If he performs well, the prospect of him getting called back up to the NHL roster will undoubtedly increase.

Jones has zero points, eight hits, eight penalty minutes, and a minus-4 rating in four games this season with the Bruins.
