'Bron's Plan:' Cavaliers DJ won't be playing any music from Drake during Raptors series
Even the DJs of Cleveland are landing shots against Toronto after LeBron James’ pasting of the Raptors in Game 2 of the Cavaliers’ series.
DJ Steph Floss, the Cavaliers’ official DJ at Quicken Loans Arena, announced in a Twitter video Thursday night that he won’t be playing Drake’s music at any games or any of his radio shows until the series is over. He cited “Bron’s plan,” a play on Drake’s song God’s Plan.
“We gonna turn that 0-2 into an 0-3. Bron’s plan. Bron’s plan. I’m sticking by what I’ve been saying,” Floss said. “There will be no Drake played on any of my mix shows or in Quicken Loans Arena until this series is over with. Period. So Toronto Raptors, ya’ll can blame Drake, Raptors fans and all of that.”

Drake has been the Raptors’ most visible fan as the team tries to act on what might be its most promising playoffs run ever as the No. 1 seed. First, he was taunting Wizards star John Wall as the Raptors topped the Wizards in the first round, then he was going at it with Cavaliers center Kendrick Perkins. However, he didn’t have much to say after James laid waste to the Raptors in Game 2, going off for 43 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds with 19-of-28 shooting from the field.
“Yo, somebody check up on Drake! Somebody check up on Drake! He had a lot to say this week on IG,” Floss said. “I know we do this every year and all of that, but this year, he was talking crazy, probably because they have the No. 1 seed, talking this and that. Ya’ll couldn’t even see it. The man was the enemy.”
It was a performance so devastating that “LeBronto” was trending at the end of the night. Floss did his best to give that name a signal boost.
“Ya’ll know what his other home is, the one up north: LeBronto. It’s a new name LeBronto, Ontario, Canada.”
