Brian Callahan: Tennessee Titans still 'actively looking' for veterans in free agency
As the Tennessee Titans brought their offseason training regimen to a close Tuesday, coach Brian Callahan is firm in his idea that the roster is not complete.
"There's opportunities to add all the way through," he said. "There's time now. We can still add. There's also more player movement at the end of training camp with roster cuts. We're still actively looking. We'll never stop that process. We're always looking to add players that we think can help us in the right places. It's an open-ended question because it's a constant."
The Titans haven't added a new player to the roster since signing veteran tight end Nick Vannett on May 13. They showed interest in adding experienced help at edge rusher and cornerback by hosting Shane Ray and William Jackson for workouts at rookie minicamp. They also have hosted several safeties since the start of free agency in March without adding depth at the spot via veteran or draft pick.
ESTES: Titans aren't concerned about L'Jarius Sneed missing practice. Should they be?
Tuesday was the final day of OTAs. The Titans will reconvene for mandatory training camp practices toward the end of July.
