Boston Celtics set to take on Brooklyn Nets in away-and-home back-to-back series
It was not all that long ago that a tilt with the Brooklyn Nets was a tough out for the Boston Celtics. But in the wake of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden all decamping to other ball clubs, the matchup has lost a bit of its luster.
But that does not mean that the Celtics’ looming away-and-home back-to-back series with the Nets is devoid of intrigue. Boston will face a Brooklyn squad with a new, familiar face in veteran floor general Dennis Schroder, and another face not seen on the court for some time is also suiting up. That would be Brooklyn point forward Ben Simmons, who has been playing again for the Nets and putting up decent numbers.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” and “Talkin’ Cs” podcast linked up to talk through the contours of the soon-to-arrive series on a recent episode.
