Miley Cyrus follows and tweets at Gus Kenworthy after the silver medalist asked her to be his Valentine
It has been a pretty good week for American skier Gus Kenworthy.
Not only did he make plans to adopt adorable Sochi stray puppies, he also won a silver medal in slopestyle skiing and landed on the front of a Corn Flakes box with his Team USA buddies (and fellow medal winners) Joss Christensen and Nick Goepper. Now Kenworthy may have earned a date with Miley Cyrus when he gets back to the States.
With their luck running high, on Friday – Valentines Day – Kenworthy, Christensen and Goepper decided to reach out to their celebrity crushes to be their Valentines. While Christensen and Goepper sought out Emma Watson and Taylor Swift, Kenworthy set his sights on pop star Miley Cyrus.

After a few days without a reply from Cyrus, Kenworthy was floored when he was followed by Cyrus on Twitter on Sunday.
Well this just hit me like a wrecking ball... @MileyCyrus Hi! You're the best :) pic.twitter.com/1E8xh5eWy5

Cyrus apparently has a soft spot for puppies (don’t we all).
