Bijan Robinson has made a strong impression in his second season with the Atlanta Falcons, earning plenty of praise from analysts, the coaching staff and his teammates alike for his versatility.

Robinson has the trifecta of skills desired by modern-day NFL running backs. This involves playing the traditional role of the position on the ground, functioning in the passing game and being an effective, willing blocker.

The former Longhorns rusher earned recognition for his blocking in the team's 22-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Robinson is already on a historical track this season, as the team's first running back to top 100 scrimmage yards in the first two games of a season since 2011.

The last Atlanta running back to achieve this feat was Michael Turner over a decade ago. So far this season, Robinson has totaled 165 rushing yards on 32 carries, with 9 receptions on 10 targets for 68 yards.

"I thought the blocking he did the other night was incredible," offensive coordinator Zac Robinson said earlier this week. "Him being able to close the space on some of those linebackers and show what he can do in pass protection is as valuable as anything, but he'll just continue to get better."

Expect Robinson to continue to dominate as he and the Falcons face the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:20 p.m. ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday night. Make sure to check out our Falcons Wire Week 3 game picks.
