Week 1 of the college football season is finally here, and a list of Big Ten teams are in some of the top matchups of the opening slate.

Among the Big Ten teams in action is No. 23 USC vs. No. 13 LSU, one of a few ranked matchups to kick off the season. There's also No. 9 Penn State vs. West Virginia, where the Nittany Lions must travel to a tough road environment in Morgantown.

Each of the four news schools – Washington, USC, Oregon and UCLA – from the Pac-12 will play their first games as members of the Big Ten, which Oregon kicking off its season as one of the top national championship contenders this season.
