Bengals fans had much to say after TNF loss to Ravens
The Cincinnati Bengals couldn't finish off the Baltimore Ravens when they had the chance on Thursday night, sprinting to a 21-7 lead and eventually losing, 35-34.
Those Bengals once again just didn't have the defense or ability to close out a game necessary to win a tough game and instead fell to 4-6.
It was a game the Bengals simply had to have in order to get to 5-5 on the season in the messy AFC, so the reactions were more dramatic than normal—even for a primetime game.
Here's how fans and media alike reacted to the result of the primetime encounter.
Joe Burrow has thrown for 820 yards, 9 TDs and 1 INT against Baltimore this year …. He’s 0-2… help him!

Players & Coaches are held accountable for bad plays & play calls. When will these BUM ASS OFFICIALS be held accountable for constantly missing calls? Burrow had 2 personal fouls missed on final drive. Damn shame

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are playing the best seasons of their NFL careers and the Bengals can’t even get to .500. Something has to change. This is unbelievable. You’re wasting the best season for your two biggest stars.

The #Ravens got away with a defensive holding and a roughing the passer on the failed two-point conversion, Terry McAulay said on the broadcast. pic.twitter.com/NcWLiaChnR

FINAL: Ravens 35, #Bengals 34
The Bengals keep finding heartbreaking, nearly impossible ways to lose big games.
We can dissect the end all we want, the errors that made this loss happen were self-inflicted by Cincinnati.— Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr) November 8, 2024

Unfiltered Al Michaels: "Too many games end this way. They just do. You miss calls. The whole thing. So frustrating for the fans. So frustrating."pic.twitter.com/DkOH6xhnD2 https://t.co/HhCkRpvWVa

Really tough loss falling to 4-6, but season far from over considering the bottom of the AFC. WC still very much in play.
No AFC team will want to face this Joe Burrow in the playoffs. Just find a way to get in.— Andre Perrotta (@andreperrotta13) November 8, 2024

Yes the refs boned Cincy on that 2pt play
But the fact that game even game down to the bengals needing a TD with under two mins to TIE IT with 7 points is a representation of ineptitude by all players and coaches
What a lost season, with the best Joe Burrow has ever played in…— Jake Sirkus (@JakeSirkus) November 8, 2024

The Bengals aren't out of it.
At 4-6 they are near the bottom end of a 5 horse race for the last two wild card spots. They play one of them - the Chargers - next time out. And the Broncos next to the last week of the season.
