Bengals get bad Orlando Brown Jr. injury update before SNF vs. Chargers
It sounds like Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals won't have starting left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. for Sunday night's Week 11 clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Brown's status will end up on the inactive side of the 50-50 questionable tag.
Rapoport wrote the following on Sunday morning: "Orlando Brown Jr., who is dealing with knee and fibula injuries, is not expected to play today, sources say. He's listed as questionable."
Brown had previously tried to play through an injury before getting shut down. Cody Ford will start in his place and has earned a 50.0 PFF grade so far this year.
Tackle depth is precariously thin for Cincinnati with rookie Amarius Mims starting on the right side after Trent Brown was lost to a season-ending injury.
