Bears dominate Jaguars in London, 35-16, to extend winning streak to 3 games going into bye week
The Bears capped off their London trip in style Sunday, routing the Jacksonville Jaguars, 35-16, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to extend their winning streak to three games and improve to 4-2 on the season.
Caleb Williams continued his impressive rookie ascent, tossing four touchdown passes, two each to emerging tight end Cole Kmet and wide receiver Keenan Allen, the veteran offseason acquisition. Williams finished the game 23-of-29 passing for 226 yards — with an interception the lone blemish — and added 56 rushing yards on just four attempts.
Kmet, meanwhile, caught five passes for 70 yards and the two scores, and Allen also had five receptions for 41 yards and two scores. D’Andre Swift added a rushing touchdown finishing just shy of 100 yards on the ground, with 91 on 17 carries, an average of 5.4 per attempt.
On the other side of the ball, Chicago’s defense limited the 1-5 Jaguars to 278 total yards and came up with two more takeaways.
Now, the Bears will get a bye week to enjoy their winning ways before the schedule toughens considerably.

The Bears beat the Los Angeles Rams, 24-18, and crushed the hapless Carolina Panthers, 36-10, at Soldier Field in the two weeks prior to Sunday’s impressive win over the Jaguars in London. Those three teams have a combined record of 3-13 going into Sunday afternoon’s games.
After their bye week, the Bears have two straight on the road against the Washington Commanders, 4-1 and leading the NFC East going into their noon game Sunday in Baltimore, and the Arizona Cardinals, 2-3 going into their noon game Sunday in Green Bay.
