Auburn football lands a commitment from this four-star quarterback

AUBURN — Auburn football landed a quarterback commitment from Deuce Knight, who flipped from Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-4.5, 206-pound four-star recruit is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 34 player, No. 5 quarterback and No. 2 player from Mississippi. The George County native chose the Tigers over schools like Ole Miss, who also tried to flip. According to 247sports, Knight was actually one of Hugh Freeze's first offers at quarterback in the 2025 cycle in January 2023.

Knight visited the Plains several times this season and attended Big Cat Weekend over the summer with other Tiger recruits. He becomes commitment No. 25 for the Tigers. Auburn jumps to No. 3 in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings ahead of LSU.
