Angel Reese owns a new WNBA record — most rebounds in a single season. Reese etched her name into the history books on Sunday with a wild 17-point and 19-rebound performance against the Minnesota Lynx.

Reese's rebounding abilities have been the subject of lots of chatter in hoops circles because while she's a force on the glass, her ability to finish at the rim has many questioning or even dismissing her stat lines.

The rookie forward is seemingly aware of the conversations about her game and shared a message on her social media to remind her to give herself some grace. The message also included a Bible verse about being restored and made strong by God after suffering.

After Angel broke the rebounding record held by Hall of Famer Sylvia Fowles, Fowles shared some kind words of encouragement for the young forward.

"Angel, you did that," Fowles said. "Continue to be loud, bold, proud — true to yourself. Congratulations, Miss double-double queen."
