The Angel Reese hate needs to stop immediately after her latest WNBA double-double feat

This needs to stop. Now.

Yes, I've seen all your compilations of Angel Reese missing shots close to the hoop for the Chicago Sky, and all the hate about her game online.

But you know what? She's laughing all the way to the hoop when she grabs yet another rebound, putting together another double-double.

Fun fact: with a 19-point and 20-rebound (!!!) performance on Sunday, Reese notched her 20th double-double, and NO ONE in WNBA history has ever gotten to that feat faster than her.

Does that not satisfy you? And if it doesn't, then why?

Heck, the rookie continues to say all the right things when interviewed, including about the double-double records ("I don't wanna hear about a record" she said recently). Yet all I see is people scoffing, especially when the Sky don't win games, which is fine given that they're rebuilding.

Whatever. Having a player who crashes the boards like she does is seriously valuable -- just ask the New York Knicks, who offensive rebounded their way to the East semifinals.

And if you really want to nit-pick about her shot selection? She's a rookie. Imagine what more she'll be able to do as the years go on.

But let's stay in the present, because what she's done already is astounding and deserving of praise. Enough with the hate, please.
