They say iron sharpens iron, and this is truly on display at the New Orleans Saints training camp. Wide receiver Chris Olave and cornerback Alontae Taylor matched up against each other at Wednesday's practice session, and it looked like Taylor got the better of this matchup.

This is a very positive sign for both parties. Olave left practice early on Tuesday after an awkward landing on his hip, so to see him back running one-on-one drills is a great sign. That Olave was in strong enough spirits to have a spat with Paulson Adebo and exchange barbs with Taylor between reps is another good sign. His injury must have been less minor than feared.

Seeing Taylor have a good practice is an immensely great sign, too. The 25-year-old struggled tremendously in his new role as a nickel cornerback this past season. He allowed the most yards and catches out of any cornerback who lined up from the slot. But on Wednesday, he effectively shut down the team's best wide receiver when they lined up one-on-one.
