Alabama softball's NCAA super regional vs. Tennessee delayed by weather
Alabama softball's NCAA super regional Game 3 vs. Tennessee has been delayed due to weather after the bottom half of the first inning.
The Crimson Tide's game started at 3 p.m. CT. Alabama currently leads 4-0 after a Riley Valentine grand slam in the top of the first inning. Tennessee won Game 1 by a score of 3-2 before Alabama took Game 2 3-2 in 14 innings after a Kristen White RBI to force a winner-takes-all Game 3.
The winner of the Knoxville Regional advances to the Women's College World Series. Alabama is looking to make its second straight trip to the Women's College World Series and 15th trip in program history.
Alabama softball vs. Tennessee NCAA super regional weather delay update
As of 5:30 p.m. CT the game is rescheduled to start at 6:15 p.m. CT on ESPN News.
