Actor Morgan Freeman in attendance again for Ole Miss basketball game vs. Auburn
OXFORD ― Ole Miss basketball coach Chris Beard vowed to make his team's tickets hot commodities when he took the job in March 2023.
He has succeeded in that endeavor in less than a calendar year. He also has succeeded in bringing the stars to SJB Pavilion. Actor and filmmaker Morgan Freeman again was in attendance for Ole Miss' game against No. 16 Auburn on Saturday in his courtside seat.

It's the second straight game he has attended. He was in the building for Ole Miss' victory over Mississippi State on Tuesday that saw the Rebels break their home attendance record with 10,630 fans on hand.
Freeman, 86, grew up in Charleston, Mississippi. He has often attended Ole Miss athletic events over the years.
