ACC baseball power rankings: How conference race shapes up in final week
There is a new No. 1 in the ACC baseball power rankings after Wake Forest swept Clemson over the weekend.
Multiple teams rose or dropped three spots from last week's power rankings after a week of shocking upsets and sweeps. Here's how the rankings stand as teams battle for position in the ACC standings in the final week of the regular season.

1. North Carolina (39-11, 20-7)
Last week: 5
What to know: No. 5 UNC swept Louisville this past weekend, outscoring them 36-15. It has the best overall record in the conference and leads the ACC in ERA with 4.13.

2. Clemson (37-13, 17-10 ACC)
Last week: 1
What to know: No. 7 Clemson was swept on the road by Wake Forest. It still leads the Atlantic Division but questions loom about its bullpen.

3. Wake Forest (36-16, 15-12)
Last week: 6
What to know: No. 9 Wake Forest swept Clemson, increasing its win streak vs. the Tigers to six. Chase Burns won ACC pitcher of the week after striking out a career-high 16 batters Friday.

What to know: No. 18 NC State won two of three vs. Virginia, taking the series Sunday behind three home runs. Garrett Pennington was selected ACC player of the week after going 9-for-13 with three homers and seven RBIs in the series.

5. Florida State (37-12, 15-11)

What to know: No. 10 Florida State lost two of three on the road to Pittsburgh. It avoided the sweep Sunday, winning 15-4 in eight innings, and is tied for second in the Atlantic Division with NC State.

6. Duke (34-16, 15-12)
Last week: 3
What to know: No. 11 Duke lost two of three to Georgia Tech to lose its second consecutive ACC series. It is tied for second with Virginia in the Coastal Division.

7. Virginia (37-14, 15-12)
Last week: 4
What to know: No. 14 Virginia lost two of three to NC State. The ACC's top scoring offense was held to five runs in both losses.
8. Georgia Tech (30-19, 14-13)
Last week: 10
What to know: Georgia Tech won two of three against Duke to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive. It is on the bubble and needs to finish the final week strong.
9. Virginia Tech (32-17, 14-13)
Last week: 8
What to know: The Hokies lost two of three to Miami, putting their NCAA Tournament chances in jeopardy. They blew a 4-2 lead in the sixth inning to drop the series.
10. Louisville (29-22, 13-14)
Last week: 9
What to know: Louisville was swept by UNC. It has lost four straight games and is on the bubble to make the NCAA Tournament.
11. Miami (23-27, 10-17)
Last week: 12
What to know: Miami won two of three against Virginia Tech with both wins by two runs. It clinched the series Saturday behind a five-run sixth inning highlighted by Jack Scanlon's solo home run.
12. Notre Dame (27-22, 9-18)
Last week: 11
What to know: Notre Dame won two of three against Toledo, taking the opener by one run before beating the Rockets 8-2 Saturday to clinch the series.
13. Pittsburgh (23-25, 8-19)
Last week: 14
What to know: Pitt won two of three against Florida State to earn its first ACC series win of the season. It clinched the series Saturday, winning 9-7 powered by a three-run seventh inning.
14. Boston College (22-27, 8-19)
Last week: 13
What to know: Boston College lost two of three against Maryland. It avoided the sweep Sunday, winning 2-1 thanks to Nick Wang's walk-off home run.
